Walther adapted the tactical styling and performance design concepts from their centerfire handguns for the P22 rimfire pistol. Standard P22 models have a threaded barrel for easy addition of a suppressor or to change to/from a 5″ target barrel. The Picatinny rail makes it a snap to mount a light or laser. Low profile three-dot polymer combat sights won’t snag clothing and are rear adjustable for windage. The slide has front and rear slide serrations for a non-slip surface with distinctive Walther styling. It has a loaded chamber indicator for quick status inspection, an external slide stop locks back on empty and three safeties – manual external, magazine disconnect, automatic firing pin block safety. This model is California compliant.

The Smith & Wesson M&P22 is an internal hammer fired semi-automatic pistol with a threaded barrel chambered in 22LR that is perfect for training but accurate enough for target shooting. This pistol is not a conversion of a standard center fired M&P but rather a ground up design that is slightly smaller and specifically built for the 22LR cartridge with a focus on reliability. Anyone who has shot a 22LR caliber pistol knows the inherent reliability of the cartridge is relatively poor compared to a center fired pistol. Smith & Wesson has built a pistol that defies the odds with an average of 500 rounds between failures. This light weight pistol features an aluminum slide with windage and elevation adjustable 3 dot sights. The M&P22 uses a straight blowback design with a single action 6lb trigger and a well placed ambidextrous manual thumb safety. The threaded carbon steel 4" barrel of the M&P22 is suppressor ready with the proper adaptor for your choice of suppressor. Like all M&P pistols, the ergonomic M&P22 has a Picatinny rail out front for your choice of accessories and an 18° grip angle.
